Capped Bus Fares
Despite the Budget announcement on 30th October 2024 that the single bus fare cap applied to many routes in England will be increased in 2025 from £2 to £3, the single bus fare in Greater Manchester will remain at £2 for the whole of 2025, but subject to a mid-year review, ref. statement from the Mayor of Greater Manchester and reported here by the BBC.

It adds that for multiple journeys in a day, ask the driver for a 1-day Bee AnyBus travelcard (£5 for adults or £2.50 for children), which is valid until 03:59am the following day. Longer duration travelcards (7 days and 28 days) are also available — see above link for details.
